The Story of L+F Designs

The first question most people ask me at events, are you Leila or Fergie? I have to then explain I am neither, my atelier is named in honor of my grandmother. Her name was Leila Ferguson, grandma Fergie to her grandkids. 

I have been creating handmade art almost my entire life. From my younger years crocheting, sewing, drawing, painting, jewelry making and later handbag designs. Both my handmade creations and my personal space are infused with touches of color that bridge the gap between the neutrality of the space and the impact of vibrant colors. 

Color is a powerful communication tool that can be used to affect our behavior and influence our mood.

I have blended my passion for handcrafted art and color to create Leila + Fergie Designs—beautiful well-made, and sourced a few complementary specialty items that are of the finest quality and the perfect pop of color for your everyday!
